Homes across the country hosted a showing of the documentary “Uncovered: The Whole Truth About the Iraq War” as part of a grass-roots effort that opposes U.S. policies in Iraq.

Organizers said the film directed by Robert Greenwald was shown at more than 2,000 venues -- including house parties, firehouses and nonprofits from L.A. to New York.

The venues were connected for a 20-minute nationwide conference call during which Greenwald answered questions. The event was organized by MoveOn.org, an Internet antiwar group.
