Ex-Gas Station Worker Sentenced for Theft

A former gas station employee has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for stealing customers’ credit card information to create counterfeit cards and make hundreds of purchases.
Hossein Haghighi, 40, of Irvine, was sentenced last week. An Orange County Superior Court judge also ordered him to pay $15,000 in restitution.
The thefts occurred at two Chevron stations in Mission Viejo and San Juan Capistrano.
