MRI Negative on McGrady
Orlando Magic guard Tracy McGrady was listed as day to day Tuesday after the results of an MRI exam on his strained right hip were negative.
McGrady, the NBA’s second-leading scorer, left Monday night’s loss to the New York Knicks late in the first quarter and did not return. McGrady was scoreless in the game.

Reserve forward Clarence Weatherspoon, 33, was traded from the New York Knicks to the Houston Rockets for point guard Moochie Norris, 30, and center John Amaechi, 33.
It was the first trade engineered by Isiah Thomas, coming eight days after he took over for fired Knick president Scott Layden.
