Matthew Thomas, Riverside King: Tipped in the game-winning basket off a missed free throw to finish with 14 points and 10 rebounds in a 61-60 Sunkist League victory over Fontana Kaiser.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Noelle Quinn, Torrance Bishop Montgomery: Had 29 points, including the game-winning shot, in the No. 8 Knights’ 53-51 Del Rey League win over No. 11 Bishop Amat. Jessica Carrera scored 17 with five three-pointers for Amat.

Sarah Pallette, Chatsworth: Scored in a 1-1 West Valley League tie with No. 8 Woodland Hills El Camino Real. Samantha Spencer scored for the Conquistadores.
