No. 24 Arizona (16-6, 9-4) at UCLA (12-9, 7-5), 7, Pauley Pavilion, XTRA (1150/690), KBET (850), KTDD (1350) -- Since their seven-game winning streak, the Bruins have gone 1-6. That downward spiral started with a loss to the Wildcats in Tucson on Jan. 18. The Bruins, however, are only one game out of second place in the Pacific 10. Arizona, led by freshman center Shawntinice Polk (17.9) and sophomore guard Dee Dee Wheeler (16.3), has joined Washington and Stanford as the conference’s elite teams.

Arizona State (14-8, 6-7) at USC (11-12, 6-6), 7, Sports Arena, KMPC (1540) -- USC is down to seven scholarship players (and two walk-ons) but has climbed back to .500 in the conference after a 1-5 start. Ebony Hoffman has led the resurgence, averaging 16.3 points and 10.2 rebounds the last six games. The Sun Devils, who start three freshmen, have been up and down this season. Right now they are up after sweeping the Washington schools last weekend .
