Search Is Underway for Woman
A 21-year-old Santa Monica woman who may have been on her way to Beverly Hills to meet a photographer has not been seen for five days, police said Wednesday.
Kristine Louise Johnson is 5 feet 9 and 140 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes, police said. She drives a white 1996 Mazda Miata convertible with a black top and California license plate 3RSV484. The car has not been found, said Santa Monica Police Lt. Frank Fabrega.
She was last seen Saturday afternoon, he said.
“We’re concerned, her family is concerned and her friends are concerned, because she’s been a responsible person all her life, and for her to disappear and stop talking to people is unusual,” Fabrega said.
Friends told police that Johnson, a data-entry operator, was supposed to meet a photographer, possibly to pose for pictures, on Saturday.
