More “Wars”: Yet another new spinoff in the “Star Wars” saga. Lucasfilm Ltd. is teaming with Cartoon Network to produce 20 two- to three-minute cartoons called “Star Wars: Clone Wars.” They’ll air between Cartoon Network programs beginning this fall.

Tony winner: Gary Beach, who won a Tony Award for playing director Roger DeBris in “The Producers” on Broadway, will re-create his performance in the production that opens May 29 at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. He’ll be the only actor in the L.A. company who is re-creating a “Producers” role he originated.
