From Staff and Wire Reports
The second-largest automated people-mover in the world has opened at San Francisco International Airport.
The $430-million system, called AirTrain, will run every 2 1/2 minutes, carrying as many as 3,000 travelers an hour free of charge between the airport and its parking garages and rental car facility. It opened this week.
Only Frankfurt, Germany, can boast of a larger system.
