Rained-Out Tenants Get Temporary Housing
From Times Staff Reports
Forty tenants of an apartment building that was left soaked and moldy by storms during a roof replacement have moved temporarily to an LAX-area hotel.
The Los Angeles County Community Development Commission, which is paying for their housing, also has loaned the owner of the building in the 1400 block of West 105th Street money for renovations that will take several weeks.
The contractor in charge of the work has promised to replace personal property that was damaged.
