Time for a New Twist to Cop Movies
How many times will we have to see the same “Hip black cop, stupid white cop” routine on the big screen (“Studio Is Staking Its Hopes on Police Lineup,” Jan. 5)?
Isn’t it enough that Eddie Murphy made two bad cop movies in 2002, and Chris Rock made one?
And where are the women in buddy cop movies? I could’ve sworn that in the last 20 years women had become staples in law enforcement.
