Medical Migrant

Taking an early retirement left me without medical insurance. Kaiser Permanente's $600-per-month premium horrified me. The $2,000 deductible floored me. So I ended up a medical insurance refugee living in Havana, where I don't need medical insurance. During the past few years I have witnessed firsthand the rise of the "dollar class."

I've also learned something. Dollars liberate.
