The verse was cut
IN David C. Nichols’ review of “A Little Night Music” at the Knightsbridge Theatre in Los Angeles (“ ‘Night Music’ Revival Resonates,” Jan. 10), he says that actress Luce Morgan missed a verse in the song “Liaisons,” implying that she forgot it.
To set the record straight, it was a directorial decision to cut the verse -- to which the actress bowed, regrettably.
I sincerely hope this information will be published because I would like people to know that I didn’t lose my mind and skip a whole verse!
