Marty Turco made 28 saves to stretch his unbeaten streak to 12 games, and Jere Lehtinen scored two goals to send the Dallas Stars to a 4-1 victory over the Calgary Flames on Wednesday night in Dallas.
Turco set the tone three minutes after the opening faceoff when he stopped Jerome Iginla on a breakaway.
Turco, who is 24-9-9, is a reserve on the Western Conference All-Star team, joining teammates and starters Mike Modano and Bill Guerin.
A native of Sault Ste. Marie, Canada, Turco has won all nine starts against Canadian teams this season and is 9-0-3 in his last 12 games overall.
Sergei Zubov and Stephane Robidas added goals for Dallas, 12-1-3 in its last 16 games and 18-2-3-1 at home this season.
"We're pretty focused right now and Marty's playing well," Dallas Coach Dave Tippett said. "We're coming together pretty well as a team, but we've got a long way to go."
Toronto 3, Carolina 2 -- Mats Sundin had two power-play goals and the Maple Leafs ended their scoring drought and three-game losing streak with the win at Raleigh, N.C.
Sundin, who has pulled out of this weekend's All-Star game with a sore shoulder, ended Toronto's 0-for-30 slump with the man advantage over a seven-game span with his 21st and 22nd goals.
His second goal, 1:48 into the third period, gave the Maple Leafs a two-goal lead and helped hand Carolina its eighth loss in its last nine home games.
Edmonton 5, Minnesota 1 -- Jason Chimera had two goals and an assist, and Tommy Salo made 28 saves as the Oilers beat the Wild in Edmonton, Canada. Daniel Cleary, Shawn Horcoff and Todd Marchant also scored for Edmonton, which tied Minnesota for second place in the Northwest Division with 59 points.
