Man Pleads Not Guilty in Child Porn Case
From Times Wire Reports
A Boy Scout summer camp director accused of possessing child pornography pleaded not guilty Friday and was expected to be released from jail after posting $15,000 bail.
Conditions of Michael Shawn Careatti’s release were sealed, said Robert W. Rainwater, an assistant federal defender.
During a hearing last week, federal prosecutors asked a judge to order the Bakersfield man to wear an electronic monitoring device or live with a custodian.
