3 Brothers Drown in Tuloumne River

Three brothers playing near the Tuolumne River drowned when the youngest slipped into the water and his two older brothers jumped in to rescue him.
Daniel, Jose and Eloy Yepez, ages 8, 10 and 12 were taken Wednesday to Modesto hospitals, where they were pronounced dead.
The boys’ parents, Silvia and Javier, have worked at a Del Monte cannery in Modesto since they left Michoacan, Mexico, seven years ago.
