Consumer Confidence Increases Again

U.S. consumer confidence rose this month to its highest in more than a year, a University of Michigan survey showed.
The university’s preliminary July sentiment index, a measure of current economic conditions, rose to 90.3 from 89.7 last month. That is its third increase in the last four months.
