Arrest Warrant Issued in Attempted Slaying
Ventura police have issued an arrest warrant for a 38-year-old man in connection with the attempted slaying of a Ventura man last month.
Paul Blevins allegedly broke into a home in the 1300 block of Camden Lane about midnight June 28. Police say he shot the resident in the face with a handgun at point-blank range because he believed the man owed him money for drugs. Blevins has used various addresses in Oxnard and Ventura. Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
Anyone with knowledge of Blevins’ location may call police at 339-4327 or Crime Stoppers at 385-8255.
