Metamorphosis Goes for Second Win in Row
Metamorphosis, who ended an eight-race losing streak June 19, will try for the third victory of his career in tonight’s seventh, a $13,850 allowance at 350 yards.
Owned by Francisco Viramontes and trained by Roberto Dominguez, the 3-year-old Pritzi Dash gelding won by three-quarters of a length at 4-1 odds in his most recent appearance.
Although he went nearly 11 months without a victory, Metamorphosis was often close. He finished second six times and was third once.
