Official Undecided on McDonald’s Restaurant

After a three-hour public hearing, a planning official said Tuesday he may decide in several weeks on a plan to build a McDonald’s restaurant in Glassell Park, but gave no hint about how he might rule.
“I have no idea what I’ll do,” city zoning administrator Albert Landini said after supporters and opponents argued the merits of the outlet proposed for the 3900 block of Eagle Rock Boulevard. The outlet has drawn opposition from some residents who say there is a glut of fast-food restaurants in the area.
