Residents Oppose Plan for Housing Units

Angry residents told Santa Barbara County planners they were outraged about plans to rezone eastern Goleta Valley farmland for 2,000 or more high-density housing units.
The plans center on converting 113 acres of “infill” between Santa Barbara and Goleta. Four farm parcels between Santa Barbara and Goleta are earmarked as high-density housing sites.
