Name Road for Bradley
Re “The Word on the Street Is, Keep It Crenshaw Boulevard,” June 18: I grew up in the Crenshaw area and agree that former L.A. Mayor Tom Bradley should have a street named for him in the community, but changing the name of Crenshaw might be a little much.
But did someone ever consider renaming Rodeo Road? It’s close to Tom Bradley’s home and we might avoid some confusion with Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Rodeo Road runs from La Cienega Boulevard, crossing Crenshaw, to almost Western Avenue, right through the heart of Crenshaw. Renaming it would be a fitting honor to a great man.
