School District Plans Teachers Academy

An academy for teachers to improve their math and science skills will be built in Aliso Viejo with $400,000 of federal funding used to plan it, Rep. Christopher Cox (R-Newport Beach) announced Monday.
The funds will used for the Capistrano Professional Development Academy, which Capistrano Unified School District officials have tentatively planned to open within three years.
