Oil Firms Should Be Held Accountable
We are being gouged by the oil companies and we all know it (“State’s Gasoline Price Average Tops $2 a Gallon,” March 4). Why isn’t something being done about it?
When the oil companies say that gas prices have gone up because of the increased cost of crude, what they mean is “it’s a great opportunity to gouge the public.”
We are now living in a world that is motivated by only one thing -- greed. I wish our politicians would get some guts and stand up to these guys.
