SaberCats Run Past the Rush
Aaron Bailey scored five touchdowns, including a team-record four rushing, in the San Jose SaberCats’ 71-49 victory over the Chicago Rush before 13,625 at Rosemont, Ill., on Sunday. Bailey scored on runs of one, two, two and three yards for San Jose (4-2). Chad Salisbury had four touchdown passes for the Rush (2-4).
Las Vegas 51, Carolina 41 -- Sean Riley caught nine passes for 133 yards and two touchdowns for the Gladiators before 6,112 at Charlotte, N.C. Todd Hammel was 16 of 23 for 206 yards for the Gladiators (3-3). Bernard Holmes had 10 receptions for the Cobras (0-6).
Georgia 70, Grand Rapids 54 -- Donnie Davis completed 19 of 24 passes for 286 yards for the Force before 9,116 at Duluth, Ga. Both teams are 4-2.
