Man Who Allegedly Slashed Wife Arrested
Adan S. Roldan has been arrested on suspicion of trying to murder his sleeping wife, Westminster police said.
Roldan, 42, slashed his wife’s throat Friday as she lay in bed, according to police. The couple’s 5-year-old child was in the bedroom at the time.
Some of their other children came to her aid as Roldan fled. Detectives traced him on Tuesday to a relative’s home in Riverside.
The motive for the attack is unknown, authorities said.
They declined to identify the wife, who survived the attack. Bail was set at $1 million.
