Activists Blamed for Slaughterhouse Damage

Babe Amaral is getting tired of having his Petaluma slaughterhouse attacked, apparently by animal rights activists.
The latest assault caused about $10,000 in damage to the Rancho Veal plant over the weekend. “Stop the Killing” was spray-painted on the back of the building, apparently by activists who also started a fire, authorities said.
