Officials Cut Red Tape for Small Wineries

County officials say they hope to become California’s next wine tourist destination spot and have passed ordinances to accelerate the process for businesses that wish to start small wineries.
In the past, winery applications took months to complete because they required a conditional-use permit, which cost thousands of dollars in fees.
