Daric Barton, Huntington Beach Marina: Hit a three-run home run for the No. 9 Vikings in a 7-3 Sunset League win over No. 3 Huntington Beach Edison.

Manuel Avendano, Buena Park: Pitched a complete game and hit a three-run home run in a 4-2 Freeway League victory over La Habra.

Mark Trumbo, Villa Park: Had two hits and scored the game-winning run for the No. 15 Spartans on a squeeze bunt by Dane Ferguson in a 3-2 Century League victory over Brea Olinda. Trumbo recorded his first save after Brea Olinda scored twice in the seventh on bases-loaded walks with two out.

Scott Smith, Temple City: Had three home runs and drove in eight runs in a 23-1 Rio Hondo League victory over San Marino.

Caitlyn Senkbiel, Dana Point Dana Hills: Had a triple, two RBIs and a run in a 4-2 South Coast League victory over Mission Viejo Capistrano Valley.

Kelli MacKenzie and Nicole Kajitani, San Bernardino Cajon: MacKenzie pitched a no-hitter with 17 strikeouts and Kajitani drove in the only run for the No. 23 Cowboys in a 1-0, eight-inning San Andreas League victory over San Bernardino.

Ildelisa Galvez, South Gate: Had two grand slams, a triple and nine RBIs in a 17-1 Eastern League victory over Bell.

Chrystal Wise, Westchester: Threw a no-hitter with 14 strikeouts and had two hits, one RBI and one run scored in a 7-0 Western League victory over L.A. University.

BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL

Jared Dayton, Mission Viejo: Had 53 kills in a 12-15, 18-16, 15-12, 15-13 South Coast League victory over Dana Point Dana Hills.

Adam Mora, Lakewood Mayfair: Had 16 kills and five aces in a 15-1, 15-0, 16-14 victory over Bellflower to clinch the Suburban League title.

BOYS’ GOLF

Tom and Bob Whitney, La Quinta: The brothers shot two-over-par 73 and three-over 74, respectively, in a 377-384 Desert Valley League victory over Palm Springs, which was led by medalist David Lieberman with a 70.
