Regarding the profile of Andrea L. Van De Kamp of the L.A. Music Center among the movers and shakers behind Los Angeles arts (“The Board Game,” April 27), she says there is a $10-million shortfall on the debt for the new Disney Hall and she is looking for new sources of revenue to pay for it.

Well, I have one message to Van De Kamp: Do not raise ticket prices on concerts at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion! If you need to pay off that debt, then get the Disney Corp. or the billionaire arts patrons in this city to pay for it. The L.A. concert-going public can’t afford it.
