Bail Set at $50,000 for Man Held in Fatal Race

A motorist who police say killed a 74-year-old woman while he raced along a busy street last week was ordered held Tuesday on $50,000 bail.
Julio Enrique Trujillo, 25, who appeared in court in a wheelchair, faces a charge of gross vehicular manslaughter and will be arraigned Friday.
Police said he was racing another car at about 80 mph Thursday on Bristol Street near Central Avenue when he slammed head-on into a car driven by Margaret Leyva of Huntington Beach.
