No worse than third in his last six starts for co-owner and trainer Paul Jones, the paint Miami Moon Dust will try for his fifth victory in tonight’s $10,000 Grass Valley Stakes.

A 350-yard dash for 3-year-olds and up, the Grass Valley, the third on a 10-race card, drew four other paints, including Kates Flyer, Floater, A Rare Gem and A Sharp Gem.

A Texas-bred gelding, Miami Moon Dust has won three of his last six, all at the Grass Valley distance.
