Firm’s Owner Arrested on Dumping Charges

The owner of Santa Monica furniture stripping firm Stripper Herk was indicted on federal hazardous-waste charges Wednesday for allegedly dumping toxic solvents and acids into the city’s sewer system.
Company owner Michael Miller, 40, of Playa del Rey is scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court next month for arraignment.
