Charges Will Not Be Filed in Murder-Suicide

The state will not bring criminal charges against Tacoma city officials who may have missed the warning signs before Police Chief David Brame killed his estranged wife and committed suicide in April, authorities said.
State and federal officials have been investigating the events leading up to the murder-suicide, including allegations that city officials ignored signs of troubling behavior. The federal investigation is continuing.
