From a Times staff writer

For the third year in a row, Christmas came early Friday to listeners of KOST-FM (103.5). The station threw out its regular music programming and began playing holiday fare exclusively. The carols will continue through 7 p.m. Christmas Day.

“It’s become a feature that our audience really looks forward to and is reflected in the increased Arbitron ratings every year,” said station manager Craig Rossi.
