River Cruise Ship Runs Aground, Injuring Three

A cruise ship ran aground on the banks of the Columbia River, injuring a passenger and two crew members, who were treated at a hospital and released, authorities said.
The Empress of the North, a stern-wheeler, developed steering problems and ran aground in The Dalles, a crew member said.
