RECALL Q

Share

If Gov. Gray Davis is recalled, would any bills he signs between election day and his last day in office be rescinded?

*

No. Any bills Davis signs while he is still governor -- that is, before a recall is officially certified -- will become law as they normally would. That means they can be rescinded only by a vote of the Legislature or by a ballot proposition.
