Three people were shot, one of them seriously injured, when a gunman opened fire at a large party in Oxnard over the weekend, authorities said.

Details remained sketchy, but authorities said the shooting occurred about 11:30 p.m. Saturday at a home in the 4900 block of Terrace Avenue. The gunman fired into the home through a window and an open front door, according to Oxnard police.

An Oxnard man and woman, both 23, sustained single gunshot wounds and were treated at a local hospital and released. A 30-year-old man also was shot and remained in the intensive-care unit Sunday at St. John’s Regional Medical Center.

Authorities refused to release the names of the victims or the motive for the shootings.

It was the second shooting attack in the 4900 block of Terrace Avenue this year. On May 25, two men were shot and killed at an apartment party there. That case, which was gang-related, remains unsolved
