Italian Aid Worker Shot, Killed Outside Hospital

An Italian aid worker who dedicated 33 years of her life to helping Somalis was shot and killed outside the hospital she founded to treat tuberculosis patients, a Somali official said. Annalena Tonelli, 60, was shot by a man who waited for her outside the hospital in Borama, Abdulkadir Suleman Ali said.
The motive was unknown and the killer escaped, Ali said.
