Garcia Replaces Martin as City’s Fire Chief

Phil Garcia, a 28-year veteran of the Culver City Fire Department and its interim chief, has been named Santa Ana fire chief.
Garcia, 54, of Laguna Niguel, starts his new post Nov. 10.
He replaces Marc Martin, who retired last month and is the director of the Santa Ana College Fire Academy.
