2 Armed Robbers Hold Up 2 Mini-Marts
From Times Staff Reports
Armed robbers held up two Simi Valley mini-marts in rapid succession before fleeing early Tuesday, authorities said.
The two thieves entered a 7-Eleven on Cochran Street about 2:20 a.m., robbed a customer at gunpoint and removed cash from the register, witnesses told police.
A mini-market at a Chevron gas station next to the 7-Eleven was then held up by one of the robbers, who demanded money while pointing a gun at the clerk.
No one was injured in either incident.
