Share

The six horses entered in tonight’s $26,550 Bull Raustus Handicap know how to win.

Available Credit, Hello Gene, Johnny Be Good, Harbor Beach, Azure Classic Star and Shy Anns Trust have combined to win 31 of 116 starts. Available Credit and Johnny Be Good each has eight wins.

The lone thoroughbred in the Bull Raustus, which will be run at 870 yards, is Johnny Be Good, owned and trained by Adan Farias. A 5-year-old gelded son of Summing, he has won eight of 13. His last two wins have come at Los Alamitos, but he went to Hollywood Park last year and upset Fit For A King in a 5 1/2-furlong turf sprint.

Owned by Cyndee Duke and Roger Wynn and trained by Paul Jones, Available Credit, a gelded son of Splash Bac, has three wins, a second and a third in five starts in 2003.
