Retired Judge Pleads Not Guilty to Felony DUI
- Share via
A retired Orange County judge pleaded not guilty Friday to felony charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and causing great bodily injury to a motorcyclist in a Dec. 5 crash.
Theodore Millard, presiding judge in Orange County in 1996-97, entered his plea in a Norwalk courtroom. He was ordered to return to court May 20 for a pretrial hearing. The case is being handled in Los Angeles County, and prosecuted by the state attorney’s general office, because of Millard’s former legal ties in Orange County.
He faces up to six years in prison if convicted of all counts.
