BASEBALL

* Thomas Milone, Saugus: Pitched a four-hitter, striking out seven, for the visiting Centurions (15-5-1, 7-2-1) in a 4-0 Foothill League upset of Valencia (13-6, 9-1), ranked No. 1 in the Southland by the Times. Ian Bridges drove home the first run of the game with a single in the fourth and Travis Babin had a three-run homer in the sixth.

* Aaron Bensou, West Torrance: His single drove in the go-ahead run in the bottom of the fourth for host West Torrance (16-6, 6-2), which moved atop the Bay League with a 3-2 victory over Redondo (13-7, 6-3).

* Nick Geach, Santa Margarita: Had two doubles and drove in three runs for the No. 11 Eagles (13-8, 5-2) in a 4-1 Serra League victory over No. 12 Santa Ana Mater Dei (14-8, 5-4).

SOFTBALL

* Christina Salazar and Amanda Guijarro, L.A. Marshall: Salazar gave up two hits and struck out eight and Guijarro had three hits for the Barristers (14-8, 10-3) in a 3-1 Northern League victory over host L.A. Lincoln.

BOYS’ GOLF

* Jordan Francis, Orange Lutheran: Finished at one-under-par 35 for the Lancers (17-4, 9-1) in an upset of No. 6 Cypress (20-3, 9-1) at Black Gold Golf Course.

BOYS’ TENNIS

* Michael Ramsey and Roberto Olmos, Los Alamitos: Swept at No. 2 doubles to lead the host Griffins (14-0) to a 13-5 nonleague upset of No. 10 Irvine University (10-5).
