From Times Wire Reports

A trio of Sumatran tiger cubs born at the National Zoo played with each other and explored their habitat during their introduction to the public.

The three 14-week-old male cubs -- Marah, Jalan and Besar -- chased after their mother, Soyono, and occasionally belted out baby roars which sounded more like screeches.

The cubs are part of the Species Survival Plan, meaning they will be relocated to other zoos for breeding within the next three years, said Sharon Deem, the National Zoo’s clinical veterinarian.
