No Separations Tries to Make It Two in a Row

Share

A decisive maiden winner July 16 in her third start, No Separations will try to repeat tonight in the seventh race, a $11,150 allowance at 350 yards.

Owned by Tim Cox and Vessels Stallion Farm LLC and trained by Paul Jones, the 2-year-old Separtist filly was sixth and fourth in her first two starts, but put everything together last time.

Breaking from the inside post, No Separations quickly drew clear and won by 2 1/2 lengths in 15.61 for the 300 yards.

The competition includes Corona Mas Fina, a Corona Cartel filly who had a troubled trip as the 7-5 favorite July 31 in her last start. Eddie Garcia will ride the California bred, who broke her maiden by a half-length in her April 15 debut.

The picks: 1. Hot Chicadee. 2. Amok. 3. Aalwyn. 4. Blushing Czech. 5. Larceny N Tended. 6. Wired To Win. 7. No Separations. 8. Superoyal Special.

Four! Hot Chicadee and Jose Caballero in the first, Amok and Power Failure in the second, Aalwyn in the third and Blushing Czech, Closer To You and Muggle Magic in the fourth.

Shots in the dark: A Pizza For Nick should show more speed in his first start since June 6 in the fifth. Bedazzled You shortens to 350 yards for owner-trainer Juan Jose Romo Jr. in the eighth.
