Last-Minute Blitz by McGrady Lifts Rockets

Tracy McGrady scooped up a loose ball and made a three-point basket with 1.7 seconds left, helping the Rockets rally from a 10-point deficit in the final minute for an 81-80 victory Thursday night over the San Antonio Spurs at Houston.

McGrady scored 13 points in the final 35 seconds, including four three-point shots, to finish with 33 points, eight rebounds and five steals.

Tim Duncan had 26 points for San Antonio.

Seattle 107, Dallas 102 -- Rashard Lewis scored 13 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter, including a key baseline dunk, shot-clock-beating three-point basket and two free throws with 18 seconds left, to lead the SuperSonics at Dallas.

Seattle, which led by seven to 15 points most of the game, reclaimed the NBA’s best record at 17-3.

Dirk Nowitzki had 27 points for Dallas.

Portland 89, Boston 87 -- Shareef Abdur-Rahim made a game-winning three-point shot at the buzzer at Portland, Ore. Zach Randolph had 22 points and 17 rebounds for the Trail Blazers.
