Virginia came to Gersten Pavilion last season and defeated the Lions, 76-68, behind Elton Brown’s 21 points and 10 rebounds. * Denver (5-3) at Cal State Fullerton (3-3), 7 -- Fullerton’s two newcomers to the lineup, center Jamaal Brown and forward Ralphy Holmes, struggled in their first games in the Titans’ loss to San Diego State on Tuesday night. Brown had eight points on three-for-13 shooting and had two rebounds, and Holmes missed all nine of his shots in 16 minutes. Guard Bobby Brown has been hot of late, scoring 57 points in the last two games on 20-for-38 shooting (12 for 22 from three-point range). Brown leads the Big West Conference in scoring at 20.2 points. Denver took a 19-point halftime lead against the Titans on Dec. 4 and dealt them a 79-57 loss.
