Man Says He Is Robber Known as Beanie Bandit

A former physical therapist has confessed to being the Beanie Bandit, believed by authorities to be responsible for a string of 15 Bay Area bank heists, according to a federal affidavit.
Ryan Stewart Chan, 40, of Pacific Grove detailed his crimes for a detective from a hospital bed, where he remained under suicide watch.
