Yao Ming has never defeated the Dallas Mavericks, and Saturday night was no different.

Dirk Nowitzki had 25 points and 12 rebounds and Michael Finley added 19 points as the Mavericks defeated the Rockets, 97-88, at home.

Yao, who has won against every other NBA team, is 0-6 against Dallas.

Asked whether the Mavericks are “in his head,” Yao said through an interpreter, “Yeah.”

Jim Jackson’s 18 points and Cuttino Mobley’s 16 paced the Rockets.

Golden State 94, Seattle 92 -- The Warriors’ Clifford Robinson made a go-ahead three-pointer with 55 seconds left, and Seattle’s Vladimir Radmanovic stepped on the three-point line on his potential game-tying shot with 1.1 seconds left at Oakland. Golden State held on during the wacky final minutes that included two disqualifications and 22 personal fouls.

Miami 97, Denver 81 -- The Heat’s Dwyane Wade outplayed fellow rookie Carmelo Anthony, scoring 28 points at Miami. The Nuggets’ Anthony finished with 16 points.
