Gunman Kills Man, 27, in Car
One man was killed and another wounded after a gunman attacked them while they were sitting in a parked car, Stanton police said Friday.
The driver, Raymond Perez, 27, of Garden Grove was pronounced dead at the scene. His 32-year-old passenger, whom police did not identify, was hospitalized in critical condition.
The men were shot several times about 11:55 p.m. Thursday in the 10800 block of Flower Street.
Police said they do not believe that the shooting was gang-related.
